Deuces Wild

Deuces Wild is the fore runner to the Bonus Deuces game.  In Deuces Wild you have a regular 52 card deck that is reshuffled by the computer after every play.  Deuces wild can be found in land and online casinos depending on where you would like to play.  The four deuces in the deck will be the wild cards in the game.  In this game you will not earn a payout if you have a pair or two pair hands.  You need to have at least a three of a kind to win.  A full house or flush is going to be your best bet.  These are the hands you get more often, so while the payout isn’t that great on these two types of hands they are in the end worth it.  The best hand is the Royal Flush, followed by the Four Deuces.  A five of a kind is also something you should strive for in Deuces Wild.

Strategy

When you are dealt five cards and the cards do not make a hand you should keep only the deuce if you have that card.  For example if you have a deuce, 4, 7, ten, and king.  You would want to hold on to the deuce only.  The other cards are not going to help and could actually hinder you getting four better cards.

You should never discard a deuce no matter what you have.  Remember the deuce is wild it can be any card you want it to be. Another tip is not to hold any cards other than the deuce even when it is a high card.  This will only hurt your chances of making the three of a kind.

A pair is preferable if you have that in your five cards.  However, you still need at least another card of the same value to win anything from the bet.  You should always bet the max coin.  By betting anything lower you give a great chance of a high payout up.  If you have two pair you should not hold them both.  You can keep one pair, but holding them both can mean you lose the chance for a three of a kind, which is the lowest hand you can have.  Some think that by holding onto both pairs you can get a full house, but that is a low pay and the chance of that happening is very low.  It is better to give yourself three cards in the replacement segment rather than one.

The four of a kind is your real target and the place that you will earn the most money in this game.  You should always decide to keep a four of a kind over a four card flush.  You also want to keep the four card flush if it is available and you don’t have any other option.  The deuce could come up to win you the royal flush.
