Nevada Bonus

Nevada Bonus is another poker game based on five card draw and Jacks or Better.  This video poker game is available in land casinos, but is not found online.  It is also not found as a progressive jackpot.  The difference in Nevada Bonus as opposed to Jacks or Better is the payout you get for the three and four of a kind when it is aces.

The other payouts are going to be standard for the Jacks or Better game including the Royal Flush of 800 times your max bet.  When you have four aces you are earning 200 times the bet, and for three aces you earn 6 times the bet.  This is a little higher than other games.  Still, you will find these are not all that high compared to games that offer other types of bonuses.

Playing Tips

In Nevada Bonus you always want to bet the max bet, which is five coins.  This allows you to get the higher payouts that are available.  Once you place the bet you will be given five cards on the screen.  Of these five cards you should decide which ones will earn you the best hand and replace the others.  There is strategy to this game.

  • If you have the four cards to make a Royal Flush they should be kept, unless you have a pair of Jacks or Better.  It is always best to go for the winning hand rather than what could be.
  • If you have a pair even if it is not a winning hand you have a better chance to get a three of a kind or a winning hand, rather than turning back all five cards.
  • If you have two pairs you can try for a full house, but you shouldn’t let the other pair go.  This is a better winning hand than one pair of Jacks or Better.
